Kinesiology
Kinesiology looks at stress patterns in your subconscious mind (eg pain or dysfunction in the body). Through access to the Central Nervous System, using muscle monitoring and acupuncture techniques (without the use of needles), it addresses the cause of an imbalance, continuing symptoms or delayed healing and allows the body to recover faster and reset to a healthy state.

Applied kinesiology is a diagnostic and therapeutic technique that combines principles of kinesiology with traditional medical practices. It assesses muscle strength and function to identify imbalances in the body, often using manual muscle testing to evaluate health conditions. Practitioners believe that muscle responses can indicate underlying issues, guiding treatment strategies that may include chiropractic adjustments, nutritional advice, and lifestyle changes. This approach aims to enhance overall health and well-being by addressing the root causes of physical ailments.

Frequently asked questions
What appointment should I book?
If you are a new client, you have a new issue or you haven't seen us in a while choose an "Initial appointment". This allows the clinician more time to go through your issues and formulate the plan to get you better faster!
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. You do not need a doctor's referral. However, if your condition is complex and chronic, and you are NDIS funded, Kinesiology may be something you can spend your self managed funds on to support your health outcomes.
What will happen during my first appointment?
The Kinesiologist will ask you questions about your goals, your injury, your surgery, etc. They will assess your emotions, your thoughts, your health symptoms and make a plan for moving forward and start some treatment.
Do I need to bring anything with me to my assessment?
Simply bring any scan or X-ray results, medication lists, and be dressed in non-restrictive clothing. Bring your questions and a clear intention of what you are hoping to achieve with our help.
How many sessions will I need?
This is highly dependent on your goals and your starting place. Chronic conditions will require more work and more visits. Relatively new issues are usually more responsive to treatment and we work off a 4 - 6 visit program. The frequency and amount of sessions are highly related to your goals and your ability to work independently or not.
What will my treatment involve?
Your treatment usually involves a blend of subconscious belief exploration, stimulation of chinese meridian points, essential oil work, auricular therapy, emotional awareness exercises, etc.
